CBS Sports: Aaron Rodgers sets aside his conflict with the Steelers, “It’s a big thing to commit to a team.”

Aaron Rodgers, a free agent quarterback, went to Louisville to see The Run for the Roses while he still contemplates his future in the NFL.
NBC cameras caught the 41-year-old Rodgers in the grandstand at Churchill Downs shortly before the Kentucky Derby.
From the luxury of the covered stands, the former New York Jets signal caller could be seen looking out onto the rain-soaked track while wearing a suit, white collared shirts, and mirrored sunglasses.
Ahmed Fareed of NBC made a joke on his present situation: Perhaps he has found his Derby horse at this time, but he is still searching for a team.
Although Rodgers is still unsure of his future, it seems likely that he will play for the Pittsburgh Steelers if he does.
Pittsburgh is the only NFL club without a confirmed starting quarterback, and the future Hall of Famer will be hoping to start games this season.
A few weeks ago, Rodgers made his comeback, revealing details about his personal life and NFL future.
“I’m 41 years old, in a committed relationship, I have personal commitments I’ve made, and people in my inner circle are going through tough times,” Rodgers stated. “It’s a big thing to commit to a team.”
However, according to a Friday Daily Mail article, it is believed that the Steelers want to add Rodgers to their roster in the upcoming weeks.
With all eyes on Green Bay, where he started his NFL career twenty years ago, the veteran quarterback was thought to be hesitant to make an announcement about his future.
According to Mail Sport, Rodgers’ future may have been decided sooner if the selection had taken place somewhere else.
