ESPN: Cowboys CeeDee Lamb Rips Eagles Star As ‘(Expletive) Dead’
CeeDee Lamb, an All-Pro for the Dallas Cowboys, is trash-talking to demonstrate that he isn’t concerned about playing Quinyon Mitchell and the Philadelphia Eagles this season.
The Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys are inseparable.
Despite having more Super Bowl victories than the Eagles, the Cowboys had to watch Philadelphia win the last two Lombardi the division has seen in the past ten years.
Another factor contributing to the rivalry’s increased intensity is the fact that Dallas has not advanced to the conference championship game during Philadelphia’s period of supremacy.
Fans aren’t the only ones. Additionally, the players hate one another. Dallas is the most recent example.
During his participation on the first “America’s Stream: Countdown to Schedule Release,” which included wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and linebacker Micah Parsons, the All-Pro wide out made fun of Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and his moniker “Quinyonomo Bay.”
“That ‘Quinyonimo Bay’ don’t last over here man,” said Lamb. That (expletive) person is dead. They talking ‘bout “You going to Quinyonimo Bay’ — Stop the cap. I ain’t never been locked down.”
Lamb has, in fact, had a great deal of success with the Cowboys against the Eagles. In nine games versus the infamous opponent, he has caught 50 passes for 674 yards and four touchdowns.
However, according to Pro Football Focus, Lamb only caught one pass for five yards against Mitchell last season.
To Lamb’s credit, Mitchell, an outside corner, isn’t expected to match up with him because he deals the most of his damage in the slot.
Of course, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott’s availability is also crucial. Prescott left the team early in 2024 because to a terrible hamstring rupture.
Lamb has, however, criticized the Eagles and their first-round cornerback.
Week 1 of the season will reveal which star wins, but for now, some early trash talk is heating things up.
