After achieving a significant career milestone on Friday, Jasson Dominguez of the New York Yankees received a heartfelt thank you from the organization.

Despite having a strong start to the season, Dominguez had trouble hitting the right side of the plate. With a record-breaking three home runs, including ones from both sides of the plate, he may have significantly ended the slump in Friday’s game.

Dominguez received a lot of recognition for the accomplishment, and the Yankees sent him a heartfelt greeting on social media.

When Dominguez took the bat in the eighth inning, he had already hit one home run. Then, to give the Yankees a 5-0 lead and earn the first multi-homer game of his short career, the 22-year-old hit on a pitch low in the zone and drove it out over the centerfield wall.

The Yankees posted on X to commemorate the achievement.

In reference to Dominguez’s moniker, the post stated, “The Martian is Mashing.”

Dominguez was far from finished. In the following inning, with the bases loaded, he stepped up to bat once again and hit a grand slam with a ball that went deep to left-center.

After Dominguez’s third explosion, the Yankees gave him another message.

The crew wrote, “He performed the Martian SLAM.”

The remarkable accomplishment by Dominguez was also noted in the official MLB account.

“The youngest player in @Yankees history to record a 3-homer game is Jasson Domínguez!” the league mentioned in an X post.

Dominguez, Jasson possesses “all the tools.”
Earlier in the week, Dominguez hit a double off San Diego Padres reliever Adrian Morejon and helped the team win 12-3, maybe beginning to shake from his early skid from the right side of the plate.

Dominguez had come into the game batting right-handed and only 3-for-36 versus left-handed pitchers.

According to The Athletic, he stated, “I’ve been having trouble from the right side.” “Clearly, it means a lot to get that hit from that side.”

Ben Rice, a Yankees teammate, gave Dominguez a lot of praise following the victory.

Rice said, “He has every tool in the world.” “Watching it is enjoyable.”

Cody Bellinger concurred, telling reporters in April that he could already tell Dominguez will be exceptional this season at training camp. Despite Dominguez’s meager MLB experience up to that time, with only 87 career at-bats in 26 games played at the highest level, Bellinger claimed he could tell the young player was destined for greatness.

Bellinger stated, “Dude, the talent is incredible,” according to MLB.com. “The swing plays on both sides of the plate. It’s a very impressive swing. For a young man, he has a pretty nice approach. Contact, power. It’s a unique experience to see him operate; he has very unique abilities.

Dominguez claimed that at the time, his colleagues’ encouragement and his diligence in learning a new role inspired him.

He remarked, “It gives you a lot of motivation and confidence to do it to hear that from your team, that they believe in you.” “I’m learning a new position and working in left field right now, and I’m trying my hardest to win that.”
