Broncos validate Arthars’ injury and Reynolds scan results

Both of them will be sidelined for an extended period of time.
After suffering injuries on Friday night against the Sydney Roosters, Arthars and Reynolds will miss one and a half months and three and a half months, respectively.
“Jesse had surgery today to treat a fracture to his jaw. Dave Ballard, the club’s head of performance, released a statement saying, “He will miss six weeks.”
“A ruptured bicep was discovered during Adam’s examination at the Clive Berghofer Qscan Facility today. He will be sidelined for 12 to 14 weeks following surgery early this week.
Reynolds will have surgery on Monday and is expected to be away for around three months, but the seasoned halfback has promised to be back before the finals series.
Reynolds stated to The Sydney Morning Herald, “I’m hoping to be back about a month before finals, and if anything it could be a blessing because I can come back fit and fresh and try to inject some life into the team.”
“Having some new legs at the end of the year is always beneficial because it’s a long year.”
“I knew it wouldn’t finish the season. I always heard that recovering from biceps took around three months,” he continued.
“I’m relieved that it didn’t occur later in the campaign. Herbie Farnworth performed one, Kobe Hetherington did it the previous year, and “Sutto” [John Sutton] did it when I was a student at Souths.
“The Cowboys the next week, or the Titans game in round 22 would be nice.”
“I would like to return a week ahead of schedule so that you can have contact, and then another week to recover from any soreness. There’s a bye and then Parramatta [in round 25].”
